Jammin’ at Hippie Jack’s Live at the Tennessee State Museum! is back. The public is invited to join the Tennessee State Museum Foundation for a free, musical showcase and TV taping on Friday evening, November 18, featuring acclaimed independent singer-songwriter Brigitte DeMeyer along with legendary performer Cowboy Jack Clements. Doors at the museum open at 7:00pm with the performance beginning at 7:30pm.

The November performance will present songwriter extraordinaire and performing artist Brigitte DeMeyer. Delving deeper into Southern musical territory, DeMeyer moved to Tennessee with her husband and their young son Jeremiah last year.
“Everybody I love playing music with is here,” she offers, “plus I got sick of paying for hotels.” It didn’t hurt that she’d also landed a publishing deal with Nashville-based Green Hills Music.

Cowboy Jack Clement has scored major musical success as a songwriter, producer, recording studio pioneer, publisher, artist and executive. Jack Clement wrote a number of highly successful songs that have been recorded by singing stars such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Bobby Bare, Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cliff Richard, Charley Pride, Tom Jones, Dickey Lee and Hank Snow. He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1973. He also produced albums by Townes Van Zandt and Waylon Jennings. Clement currently hosts a weekly program on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's Outlaw country (channel 60) from 2pm to 6pm (Eastern) on Saturdays.

The live concerts are aired as taped broadcasts from the museum’s own Buffalo Bill Stage, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore and understand the cultural connections between Americana music and its historical roots.  Jammin’ at Hippie Jack’s Live at the Tennessee State Museum! is broadcast to more than 112 million viewers on PBS stations across the nation, including presenting sponsor WCTE-TV in Cookeville, Tennessee. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All performances are FREE to the general public. Seating begins at 7:00pm, 30-minutes prior to the 7:30pm performance start time.
