Join us for CINEMATIC CONVERSATIONS on Monday, November 28 following the 7:00pm screening of BITTER VICTORY. This is our version of a “book/film club.” Cinematic Conversations is a great way to meet new people and expand your knowledge of film, directors, actors, etc. The group will meet at Fido immediately following the film (approx. 8:30p).

ABOUT BITTER VICTORY:

British army captain Leith (Richard Burton) is handed a mission that may prove to be his most difficult yet: He must partner up with fellow military officer Brand (Curd Jürgens), with whom he doesn't get along, to steal top secret documents from a Nazi group in Libya. Complicating matters further is Leith's relationship with Brand's wife (Ruth Roman), with whom Leith once had a torrid love affair, ratcheting up the tension between them. Aided by Ray’s inspired direction and Gavin Lampert’s taut screenplay, BITTER VICTORY is a searingly honest portrayal of two men engaged in a psychological duel. Part of NICHOLAS RAY CENTENARY
