Spend an evening The Basement for On The Stage Nashville w/Lauren Adelle,Claire Stahlecker, Matt Chapman Rebecca Moreland Huber, Thief and Victor Oquendo. All proceeds benefit The Center for Immigrants and Refugees of Tennessee.

The Center for Refugees and Immigrants of Tennessee grew out of an organization founded by Somali refugees in 2000 called the Somali Community Center of Nashville and was renamed in 2009 to reflect the ethnic diversity of the organization's clients. The organization was established originally by Somalis who aimed to better meet the needs of their resettled Somali community members in Nashville. The organization has historically provided social adjustment, education/outreach, employment, health, and community services, as well as interpretation services and assistance filling out immigration forms. Today the center provides services and programming to clients from 40 countries, principally serving Somalis, Burmese, Ethiopians, Eritreans, Iraqis, Sudanese, Egyptians, Congolese, Kurds, Burundians, and other refugees and immigrants living in Middle Tennessee. We are the largest refugee-operated nonprofit in Middle Tennessee.
