    The Tennessee State Museum will host a Holiday Artisan Bazaar in conjunction with the exhibition Stranger in Paradise: The Works of Reverend Howard Finster on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 10:00am–5:00pm. This event is free and open to the public.

    Visitors are also invited to attend a gallery talk at 2:00pm with guest curator for the Finster exhibition Glen C. Davies. He will conduct a walking tour through traveling exhibition which will be on view in the museum’s Changing Galleries through January 15, 2011. There is no admission charge for either the gallery or the exhibit.

    The Holiday Artisan Bazaar will host 11 artists and the average price range of the items will be $100 or less. The following participating artisans will be showcased in the marshalling area in front of the Museum Store:  Nancy Lee Andrews, Helen Curnutte, Katie Dann, Bob Gray, Raleigh Hussung, Jack Kenner, Michael Maness, Lsa Mergen, Susan Shanklin, and Twisted Sister.
