The Ace of Blues Band is a superb blend of veteran musicians and singers vastly experienced in producing the best quality Blues, R and B, Soul, Southern Rock, and various fusion genres. Members are: Ronnie and Rickey Godfrey, Bill Darnell, Mike Chapman, and Tommy Wells. The number of major album credits among this band are too many to list but just to name a few: Mike Chapman has multiple Garth Brooks sessions under his belt as well as Huey Lewis, Levon Helm, Kathy Matea, Black Hawk, just to get started. Bill Darnell has session credits with Jerry Reed, Larry Gatlin, Terri Gibbs, Vern Gosdin, Shenandoah, T.G. Shepperd, The Osmonds, Willie Dixson, and many others. Ronnie Godfrey has a number one song under his belt he wrote for Ty Herndon and is an incredible keyboardist and singer. Ricky Godfrey and Tommy Wells have numerous credits and professional endorsements under their belt and are two of the most well known blues musicians nationwide. Ace of Blues brings and unprecedented level of high level performance and are a must see in the Nashville area.
