    The Ornaments started five years ago as a local combo whowanted to play for friends and family the music of the greatest holiday special ever produced – Charles Schultz’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, with its brilliant soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi –and since then, their shows have grown into a Nashville holiday institution. Led by pianist Jen Gunderman, accompanied by bassist James Haggerty and drummer Martin Lynds, and featuring guest soloists on various instruments, the Ornaments evoke the childhood feeling of sitting in front of the television with loved ones on a cold December night, watching Snoopy and the gang.

    On Friday 12/16, the Ornaments will play sets at 8pm and 10:30pm. Stick around for hip holiday music DJ'ed by the band, plus film footage from the original TV special.
