    Join us Sunday, January 8, 2012 for the 197th Anniversary Celebration of the Battle of New Orleans. This holiday is our only FREE admission day we offer throughout the year. This exciting day will include: • A traditional wreath-laying ceremony that will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Tennessee Army National Guard Color Guard at the tomb of President Andrew Jackson • Keynote speech from Dale Phillips, current superintendent for the Lincoln Home and presentation by the Daughters of 1812 • Presentation in our theatre by Mr. Phillips following the ceremony • Children’s activities and crafts in the education building • FREE admission all day from 9:00am-4:30pm.
