The Nashville Rollergirls just finished a successful tournament run, taking 3rd place at the South Central Regionals, securing a spot at the WFTDA Championships for the second year in a row. Now they’d like to go for another second by following up last year’s wildly successful derby boot camp with a sequel! Are you a current derby skater interested in learning some new skills or honing your strategy? Whether you are at the intermediate or advanced level, our camp will have something for you. Training is structured by position and will be provided by skaters with years of experience. You’ll have a chance to learn from some of Nashville’s brightest, such as Ramb0 Samb0 and Rock Nasty (this year’s South Central MVP). Just like last year, we’ll offer courses that include topics from speed and strategy to equipment maintenance. But this year we are also having an optional second day for coached scrimmages! That’s a whole weekend of derby goodness!

This year we are also offering an awesome opportunity to PLAY in NRG's pre-season intraleague bout with the Nashville Rollergirls. After Saturday's bootcamp, a group of girls will be selected, based on performance, to put their new bootcamp skills to the test!

Camp topics will include:
-Off skates training (with Stella Live)
-Speed skating and skating the track (with Curse Practitioner)
-Jammer skills (with Ramb0 Samb0)
-Blocker skills (with Slayla)
-Team strategy for more effective gameplay (with Rock Nasty)
-For those who sign up for Sunday: two 45 minute skill-rostered scrimmages and one mixed level scrimmage, all coached and refereed (with Slayla and Showstopper)

$80 Registration fee covers (60 spots total):
-Day long camp participation for Saturday, February 4th, 2012
-Catered lunch
-Light snacks
-Training manual
-NRG swag, to be announced!
-Entrance to 7 pm bout OR the chance to be a part of the bout and PLAY with NRG!

$20 Registration fee covers (40 spots total):
-Half day Scrimmage participation for Sunday, February 5th, 2012
-Light snacks
 

Non-skating attendees are welcome with full payment (coaches, injured skaters) and are encouraged to participate in the learning process.

Male skating attendees are also welcome with full payment but must meet the participatory requirements (skills test passed, WFTDA or USARS insured).

**all participants must have passed the WFTDA minimum skills test and be 18 years old or older**
