The Billy Block Show is second only to The Grand Ole Opry and Midnight Jamboree as Nashville’s longest running LIVE radio show and concert series. It has become the Ellis Island of Nashville welcoming newcomers of all musical genres from rock to rockabilly & blues to bluegrass. Block has become a Nashville icon with his shock of silver hair and ever-present smile, who is equal parts musician (Freddy Fender to Frank Black), broadcast personality (103WKDF/CATV19), shameless self promoter (Mr. Nashville) and artist advocate.
