When hard-working New York businessman Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell) settles in for a summer of work while his wife and son are away in Maine, he couldn’t possibly imagine that temptation would be moving in upstairs. But it does, and as incarnated by Monroe (in the dress she and a subway draft made immortal), temptation takes the upper hand in this witty and ribald adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play.
