Singer, songwriter and talented musician, Jennifer Strickland's credibility as a songwriter became established in the National bluegrass scene in 2003. Missouri native and Rounder Recording artist, Rhonda Vincent recorded a song entitled “Missouri Moon” on her album, “One Step Ahead”. Rhonda, also known as the “Queen of Bluegrass”, went on to record the same ballad on her “Ragin’ Live” album and DVD in 2005. Soon after, other artists began to follow suit. Rural Rhythm recording artist and vocal powerhouse, Carrie Hassler, featured “Going on the Next Train” on her debut album in late 2006. The song appeared on Bluegrass Unlimited’s music survey in July 2007 and remained on the charts for eight months. “I Can Go Back Anytime” was the first single released from Carrie’s sophomore project, “CHHR2”. This song debuted on the bluegrass charts in October 2008. This song reached number one status on Bluegrass Unlimited’s music survey in May 2009 and spent a total of eleven months on the bluegrass charts. Jennifer has performed with several acclaimed writers, producers, and artists since her relocation to Nashville- Alecia Nugent, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call, Ron Rigsby & Co., Carrie Hassler and Melanie Cannon.
