For a guy who’s lost his leg, Sal has a pretty cheerful outlook on life. In fact, if there’s an amputee with a better sense of humor, we haven’t met them. In his interview, Sal Gonzalez describes how an IED blast took his leg, the grueling rehabilitation process, and how he’s gone from hospital patient to singer, songwriter, and pirate.
