    In their first collaboration, Director Stuart Gordon and star Jeffrey Combs take an H.P. Lovecraft short story and turn it into one of the most endearing and enduring of 80s splatter classics. When a medical student develops a serum that makes the finality of death much less final, all bets are off. With horror diva Barbara Crampton and a perfect balance of grue, glee, and guts.
