Excite your child’s creativity by joining us for a morning of art adventures in the Frist Learning Center! With drop-in activities changing weekly, Tuesdays for Tots is sure to be a memory-making routine for you and your toddler! Stop by the studio any time between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to take part in the activity. If bringing more than 5 children, please call 615-353-9827 to make a reservation.

Don’t forget to bring your imagination and dress for mess!

January 3 Silly Snowman | Make the most of a cold winter day and create your own silly snowman!

January 10 Cheekwood in Color | From the Museum of Art and Botanical Garden to the Pineapple Room dishes and Gift Shop items, color is everywhere at Cheekwood! Stop by the studios to create your own colorful art project.

January 17 The Wild World of Cheekwood | Cheekwood is home to several botanical collections that can spark the imagination on adventure walks. From silly plant names to funky tree shapes, join us as we use our imaginations and create ‘The Wild World of Cheekwood’! This week we will be reading Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

January 24 Happy Trees! | Come explore the true meanings of trees! Join us for story time from 10:30 to 11:30 for a reading of The Happiness Tree by Andre Alban Gosline and Lisa Burnett Bossi and learn what each kind of tree stands for. Drop by the studios to create your own tree-inspired craft!

January 31 Mini Masters | View the award-winning work of local high school students in the Scholastic Art Exhibition and create a mini-masterpiece of your very own.
