Lexus Nashville Fashion Week

Lexus Nashville Fashion Week is a city-wide celebration of Nashville’s thriving fashion and retail community and its vast array of creative talent—featuring local, regional and national design talent in fashion events and shows, and encouraging both Nashvillians and visitors to explore the city’s diverse fashion and retail spaces throughout the week with promotions, partnerships and industry panel discussions.
Nashville Fashion Week will consist of 5 nightly fashion shows featuring more than 20 designers. Line-up and locations are as follows:
Tuesday, March 20 at 7:30pm at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville featuring Valentine Valentine, by SMITH, T. Rains. Doors open at 7:00pm.
Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30pm at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville featuring Leona, Wai Ming, Sjobeck, Eva Franco, Zang Toi. Doors open at 7:00pm.
Thursday, March 22 at 7:30pm at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville featuring amy.b., Black by Maria Silver, Brittany Blair, Julianna Bass, Pink Elephants, The Trunk, Tuft. Doors open at 7:00pm. All Access pass holders will be admitted to the fashion installation event at 7:30. General admission at 8:00pm.
Friday, March 23 at 8:00pm at The Parthenon, Centennial Park, 2600 West End Avenue, Nashville featuring White Rabbit by Shea Steele, Red Doll, G-Star, Katharine Kidd, Versace Collection. Doors open at 7:30pm.
Saturday, March 24 at 8:00pm at The Pinnacle at Symphony Place, 150 3rd Avenue South, Nashville featuring Jamie and the Jones, Kal Rieman, Sylvia Heisel, Magid Bernard, Randi Rahm. Doors open at 7:30pm.

On Thursday, March 22, the Nashville Fashion Week Industry Panels Presented by Imogene + Willie will take place at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, located at 919 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203.
There is no charge for the Industry Panels, but donations are encouraged. All donations benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. RESERVE YOUR TICKETS FOR THE INDUSTRY PANELS TODAY!
PRODUCING THE GOODS, 10:00am–11:30am
The production process and what it takes to source, sew and manufacture fashion in the United States. An emphasis will be placed on the importance of and challenges to keeping production in this country.
Panelists: Natalie Chanin (owner/designer of American couture line Alabama Chanin in Florence, AL); Otis James (designer/creator of handcrafted clothing and accessories in Nashville); Barry Wishnow (business leader and CEO of numerous national brands, creator of BASH, 1940s-inspired bespoke brand); Julie Haley (Vice President of Sales at Elk Brand Manufacturing Company)
Moderator: Carrie Eddmenson, co-owner, Imogene + Willie
WHAT MAKES A BRAND?, 1:00pm–2:30pm
The focus, hard work, and thought required to define, build and market a fashion brand. Special emphasis will be placed on the importance of social media and issues concerning propriety.
Panelists: Rose Apodaca (co-owner of A+R, former West Coast bureau head of Women’s Wear Daily, contributor to numerous national magazine, author of bestseller “Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty & Everything Glamour”); Susie Crippen (co-founder, former creative director of J Brand); Mike Wolfe (creator and star of the History Channel’s "American Pickers"); Rachel Halvorson (interior designer and owner of Rachel Halvorson Designs)

SOUTHERN FASHION NOW, 3:00pm–4:30pm
An exploration of trends, characteristics, and the national and international affect of modern Southern design and designers.
Panelists: Dana Thomas (Paris-based author of bestseller “Deluxe: How Luxury Lost Its Lustre,” contributing editor for WSJ, the Wall Street Journal’s monthly magazine, former cultural and fashion correspondent for Newsweek in Paris); Matt and Carrie Eddmenson (owners of Imogene + Willie); Phillip Nappi (co-founder/owner of the Italian handmade boot company Peter Nappi); Jamie Frazier and Hannah Jones (Nashville fashion designers under the brand, Jamie and the Jones.)
Moderator: Libby Callaway, writer, author and media director of Imogene + Willie
Ticket proceeds from Lexus Nashville Fashion Week benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund, administered by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Nashville Fashion Forward Fund is awarded annually to advance the career of select local talent with demonstrated experience in a fashion-related field.
Nashville Fashion Week is founded and directed by Creative Co-op Nashville LLC, a collaboration of fashion, retail and media professionals who have partnered to combine resources and passion to create an event that spotlights Nashville’s growing fashion industry.
