    Moon Taxi have a brand new studio album dropping next Tuesday, Feb. 7. It's called "Cabaret" and it was recorded right here in Nashville at Alex The Great (where Yo La Tengo, Gomez, Be Your Own Pet and many others have laid down tracks and where Grimey's has its warehouse space!) The new album shows the band stretching out and trying any ideas that interest them. Moon Taxi is known for their epic live shows and intense fans. Inspired by artists who push the envelope, such as minimalist composer Phillip Glass, Director Quentin Tarintino, and bands like The Beatles and Radiohead; they don't fit easily into any box, especially the so-called jam band scene. "Cabaret" should expand their following considerably. Join us for a stripped-down acoustic performance on the day their new album hits.
