Kick back as Omikoshi transforms into a New York-style jazz supper club. You can enjoy the full sushi and dinner menu or just have a beer or green tea. We'll play jazz standards with kick, interspersed with a vocal or two and even a couple contemporary grooves. We'll also play African music on the gyil (xylophone from Ghana), with audience participation on hand percussion instruments from around the world. You'll see the the gankogui (cow bell) from Ghana, maracas from Cuba, shell shaker from Peru, guiro from Mexico, and pandeiro from Brazil, among others. Watch out for a good time!

With Linda "Rose" on vibes, gyil, hand percussion, and vocals; Fish Michie on keys; Matt Murdock on trumpet; Kevin Knapp on bass; and Tom Kazlowski on drums.
