New York native Kate Lee began playing the violin at age 9 and was performing professionally by the age of 12. As a teenager, she and her band, Kate Lee with No Strings Attached, played major east coast music festivals and concert halls. In recent years, she has toured with national acts, including Rhonda Vincent, Jay Ungar (composer of “Ashoken Farewell”) and Molly Mason and the Grascals. She is now a freshman at Belmont...
