Brown bag Lunch
April 13, 2012
The Arts Council of Williamson County’s ‘Brown Bag Lunch Bunch’ is inviting all members and non-members to bring their art work for a show and tell. During the second half of the meeting we will be conducting an Artist Trading Card swap.
Artist work Review: All attendees are encouraged to bring in some of their own artwork for a show & tell. Strut your stuff and show us what you been working on. Feel free to bring in one or two pieces of your work and telling the group a little about it. You can work in painting sculpture jewelry or crafts just bring it through the doors and show us what you got. Share with the group how you can up with the idea as well as how it was created. Each artist will be given 5-10 minutes to share with the group and perhaps get some great feedback.
Artist Trading Cards: All Arts Council members are invited to participate in ATC’s swap. We did this last year and had a great success. Those who like to participate should create twelve Artist Trading Cards prior to the meeting. There is no theme and all techniques are allowed. The size must be 2 ½ x 3 ½ inches (landscape or portrait) preferably made on a stiff cardstock. You should sign number and date the cards on back. All artist will spread out their cards tell a little how they were made and then let the Swap begin! If you bring 12 cards you will in turn you will get 12 back from other artist.
Grab your lunch and some of your artwork along with those trading cards and join the Art’s Council for a lunchtime of artistic fun and camaraderie. The Arts Council’s ‘Brown Bag Lunch Bunch’ meets 2nd Friday of most months. Open to the public and no charge to attend.
