    “Rize of the Fenix,” Tenacious D’s widely-anticipated third album, is available for preorder on iTunes now. Also available is first single “Rize of the Fenix”, listen to the track via soundcloud at www.tenaciousd.com.

    “Rize of the Fenix” will be available everywhere May 15. Produced by the brilliant John Kimbrough, “Rize Of The Fenix” was recorded in the garage behind his LA home and features Jack Black and Kyle Gass (Tenacious D’s core duo) performing with Dave Grohl (drums), John Spiker (bass, piano, organ), and John Konesky (electric guitar).

    The Jeremy Konner directed “To Be The Best” music video expertly sums up the duos six year absence and features cameos from Dave Grohl, Yoshiki, Josh Groban, Jimmy Kimmel, Maria Menounos, Tim Robbins and Val Kilmer.
