Voted “Best Festival” in the 2007, 2008, and 2009, 2010 Nashville Scene Reader’s Polls, the Tomato Art Fest will return this year on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Located in Historic East Nashville’s Five Points area, which has been coined by Budget Travel Magazine as “Nashville’s version of New York’s East Village,” this FREE, costume-friendly event provides a fun-filled day for thousands.

It is hard to believe that this year is the 9th annual Tomato Art Fest! It has been a thrill to watch it grow from a small neighborhood event into a festival with 18,000 in attendance…all braving the heat of August to come out and play.

Tomato Art Fest has received kudos from both local and national press. It has been mentioned in Southern Living Magazine, Family Circle, and Epicurious to name a few, and we were voted “Best Festival” 4 years in a row in the Nashville Scene’s readers poll.

The Tomato Art Fest is all about community and participation. It is truly a family event where everyone is encouraged to come out, enjoy a day filled with fun, imagination, and play…oh, and tomatoes!

True to our motto, “The Tomato…A Uniter, Not A Divider- Bringing Together Fruits And Vegetables”, the Tomato Art Fest brings together community and FUN!
