    Part Bluebird Cafe, part Puckett's Grocery, Star Café Thursdays Songwriter Night is host Bud Tower and a friend playing for about an hour followed by more old and new friends playing their original music (and what the heck—we love Tom Petty, The Beatles, George Jones, Hank, etc., so covers too).     Part Bluebird Cafe, part Puckett's Grocery, Star Café Thursdays Songwriter Night is host Bud Tower and a friend playing for about an hour followed by more old and new friends playing their original music (and what the heck—we love Tom Petty, The Beatles, George Jones, Hank, etc., so covers too). Eat while you listen 'cuz Star Café food rocks (Urban Spoon rating = 88%!!) and it's served in about a nano second and it's way inexpensive. If we don't know you, but you want to play, bring yer geetar and tell us, "hey, I want to play!!" (No pianos now, but we'll work on it.) Star has a porch for dining when the weather's good and plenty of parking.
