Alan LeQuire has been teaching out of his studio space since the early 1980s. As a mentor to emerging artists, he is committed to art education and fostering educational initiatives with the goal of inspiring creativity and a love of learning.

After years of being asked to host a summer camp, and after a hugely successful camp last year, LeQuire Studio is excited to announce the second annual "Artist-A-Day" Camp, a series of summer classes for children ages 7-10, taught by some of Nashville's most recognized artists. Alan LeQuire's studio has long been the setting for adult sculpture classes, but this summer it will be home to much more—ten accomplished artists, teaching their respective crafts to Nashville's youth.

Four week long sessions available to choose from:
June 18-22 June 25-29 July 9-13 July 16-20 (There will be no summer camp the week of July 4th.)

Voted 'Best Summer Camp' by the writers of the Nashville Scene. Instructors and media change daily. Projects may include clay modeling with nationally recognized sculptor, Alan LeQuire, or painting with New York Academy of Art instructor, Maggie Rose. Other career artists/instructors include potter Tom Turnbull, raku master Donna Rizzo, coppersmith Ben Caldwell, wood turner Brenda Stein, stone sculptor Scott Wise, decoupage master Annie Freeman, wood sculptor Olen Bryant and printer Jim Sherraden from Hatch Show Print.
