    East Nashville burnout-rockers Hurts to Laugh are debuting a live perfomance video collaboration with Sternwood TV in a three band premiere at The High Watt on May 24, at 9:00pm. The video is the first shot and directed by Roderick Trestrail who has credits as tour photographer for Britney Spears and My Morning Jacket.

    “Roderick has a fantastic eye,” declares lead-drumming lead-singer Cliff Cobain. “He has taste and a love for punk rock. The video is like Fugazi’s ‘Instrument’ documentary curb stomping a Levi’s commercial.” The work is currently being featured on Vanderbilt University’s creative writing website Nashville Review. Sternwood TV plans to feature more bands this year including Epic Ditch and Ranch Ghost with more online videos and premiere parties.

    This show also features live music from Fancytramp and The Vibes.
