    Part of Midnight Movies: An ongoing exhibition of cult films in a theatrical environment. All films screened in 35mm unless noted.

    In honor of Adam Yauch – aka MCA, aka director Nathanial Hörnblowér. At Madison Square Garden on October 9, 2004, the Beastie Boys handed out Hi8 cameras to 50 audience members who were instructed to keep the cameras rolling at all times. What results is a kinetic concert film that matches the Beasties’ highly energetic live show with the unbridled enthusiasm of their fans. The setlist evenly spans the group’s discography from their 1986 breakthrough Licensed to Ill to the then-current 2004 release To the Five Boroughs. Keep your eyes glued for stage-side cameos from Doug E. Fresh, DMC and Ben Stiller. This film will be played loud.
