    In 2010, Meadower was founded in a Metro Detroit basement. Influenced by Television, The National, Dinosaur Jr., and The Flaming Lips. Meadower has set about on a path of constant musical evolution. In the indie spirit, Meadower has carved an identity with a post-punk sound and DIY designed artwork.

    When Metro Detroit band The Talkies broke-up in 2009, bassist Mack and guitarist/vocalist Matt decided to continue creating music together. Adding drummer Joel and guitarist Zack, the line-up of Meadower was complete. The four musicians blended their musical styles and backgrounds to craft songs with shining melodies, dynamic arrangements, and rich textures.
