Presented by at Ryman Auditorium

October 12 - October 13, 2012

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals are returning to the Ryman stage for two nights in October. The group initially made a name for themselves as a touring band on the jam band circuit, but their influence lies within the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll. Playing up to 200 shows a year, the band shaped and sharpened their sound the old-fashioned way, on stages in front of demanding crowds. Their first three albums had a late 60’s/early 70’s vibe mixed with rock n’ roll, but their newest album has a hard-hitting rock sound as the music goes, once again, against the current. Guitarist and vocalist, Scott Tournet, says about the newest album, “I was blown away by how slammin’ and ballsy it turned out. We went way deeper on this one and it’s gonna be incredible to play live.”
