Live On the Green is a free six-week outdoor concert series held Thursday evenings in Public Square Park, adjacent to Nashville's Metropolitan Courthouse. The 2012 season will run from September 6th through October 11th. Live On the Green showcases Nashville's emerging musical talent and highlights national acts with roots in Music City.

Live On the Green partners with Mayor Karl Dean's office, Metro Government, and Nashville's Independent Radio, Lightning 100.1 FM, to connect the city, the local music industry, and the community. Additionally, the central location has made the concert series a favorite destination for friends, co-workers, and families alike to gather after work to enjoy an evening of FREE live entertainment.
