    What is the Holly Street Family Fund?
    As a 503(c) organization, Holly Street’s focus is to provide quality childcare to Nashville’s families, regardless of their financial status. When we opened our doors over 29 years ago, that meant accepting state vouchers for daycare and receiving funding from local and national charitable organizations. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood since then, and the demand for quality childcare in East Nashville has increased beyond our imagination. Changes with state certificates, United Way funding, and our own population, changed what it meant to provide assistance to families. Today, we have the Holly Street Family Fund (see attached). It is completely donation-funded and is used to help families on certificate or during temporary financial hardship.
