Artist's Reception for Alan LeQuire's

Join the Renaissance Center for a free Artist's Reception for Alan LeQuire's "Dream Forest" sculptures in the Rotunda. The public is welcome and food and refreshments will be served. The reception also includes other exhibits: Sydney Reichman's sculptures in the Visual Arts Galley, Nancy Hilgert's Original Drawings: “Nature, Wood and Stone”, Teresa Van Hatten-Granath's photographs, "Pristine to Extreme: Plastic in our Oceans", and the InTEENsity 3rd Annual Photography & Art Show. All of these exhibits will be on display September - October 31.

The Dream Forest exhibit includes nine elongated, interpretive human torsos, assembled together on a colossal scale, with tree-like stature. LeQuire is best known for his colossal sculptures, Athena Parthenos, the largest indoor sculpture in the western hemisphere, in Nashville's Centennial Park, and Musica, one of the largest bronze figure groups in the world, in "the round" on Music Row.
