Saints, Goddesses and Bodhisattvas

A national juried exhibition of figurative art of the divine on display October 22 through December 14, 2012.

Original images of sacred personages from various religious paths and personal creations are the theme of this exhibition. Kuan Yin, the Madonna, and Lakshmi, will all come together here to celebrate the holy and mysterious, and share their Light and Beauty with those who see them. From small icons to handmade books to luminous paintings, all mediums will be vehicles for the divine figure to manifest.

The Marnie Sheridan Gallery is located on the campus of Harpeth Hall, a college preparatory school for young women in grades 5-12 in Nashville, TN. Gallery hours are during school hours and events, and the public is invited to view exhibits and attend the opening reception.
