Raise a glass to the joint launch of Kelley Ryan's new CD, "Cocktails" and Marti Jones Dixon's solo exhibition, "3D: Drinking, Dining and Dancing" at the LeQuire Gallery in West Nashville.

As friends and musical collaborators, the Kelley/Marti combination has proved as refreshing as a cool gin and tonic. The two will perform songs from Cocktails, as well as favorites from past albums.

They'll be joined by bass player Don Dixon, who shared producing duties with Kelley, and percussionist Jim Brock.

For the past few years, Marti has been concentrating more on painting than singing, resulting in her solo show, 3D: Drinking, Dining and Dancing.

They're two Irish-American friends who often travel, drink, eat, and on occasion, even dance together. Marti ended up painting about their shared experiences while Kelley recorded an album about them. So it makes sense that they're launching their work together - it'll be an 'intoxicating' two hours at the LeQuire Gallery.
