For the first time, winners in two of the 12 CMA Awards categories will be announced live from Nashville on “Good Morning America,” Thursday, Nov. 1 from the Bridgestone Arena Plaza.

“Each year we announce our final nominees on ‘Good Morning America’ and now we have the opportunity to announce two of our winners,” said Steve Moore, Chief Executive Officer of CMA. “GMA is a terrific supporter of the CMA Awards and Country Music. I can’t think of a better way to jump start the day as we lead up to ‘The 46th Annual CMA Awards’ broadcast on ABC.”

The winners for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year will be announced during the “Good Morning America” broadcast live from Nashville. The program will also feature musical performances by Reba McEntire and an appearance by Paisley. Fans are welcome to attend the “Good Morning America” broadcast from Nashville on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza on the Corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Josh Elliott is the news anchor, Lara Spencer is lifestyle anchor, and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs Monday-Friday (7:00-9:00 AM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
