Nashville Superspeedway will host the stars and cars of the Indy 500. 2007 Indy 500 Champion Dario Franchitti, who won in Nashville in 2005, will return to Nashville SuperSpeedway with Sam Hornish Jr., Helio Castroneves, Danica Patrick, Sara Fisher, Dan Wheldon, and the host of other great open-wheel drivers. The schedule for the two-day event is: Friday, July 13 4:00pm - Parking Lots and Gates Open 5:15pm - IndyCar Series Qualifying 6:45pm - IndyPro Series Practice Saturday, July 14 10:00am - Parking Lots Open 1:00pm - Gates and Fan Walk Opens 3:30pm - Sunbelt Rental 100 IndyPro Series Race 6:30pm - Firestone Indy 200 IndyCar Series Race
