One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Enter Randle P. McMurphy, a gambler who swaggers into the ward of a mental hospital and takes over. In a contest that starts as sport, he challenges the dictatorship of the tyrannical Nurse Ratched, but it soon develops into a grim struggle for the minds and hearts of men. Starring Shane Bridges as RP McMurphy and Kay Ayers-Sowell as Nurse Ratched and directed by Cathy Sanborn Street. Helpful Information: Sunday, August 12th is 'Student Night' and students can get in for only $6, Friday, August 17th is 'Talk Back Night,' when the audience is invited to stay for a post-show discussion with the cast, and Sunday, August 19th is 'Starving Artist Night, when tickets are pay what you can afford, on a cash-only basis starting one hour before show time.

I saw Street Theatre's "Popcorn" on Saturday night and I have to say it may have been the best piece of Theatre I have seen since moving to Nashville. The ensemble cast is unbelievable. Kudos to this brave group of actors for they have acheived art. Don't miss this production, by far Street Theatre's best offering of it short existence. Collapse
