Set in 1910, this rollicking farce tells the story of a pretty young woman who accidentally loses her underpants while watching a parade. To the dismay of her stuffy ureaucratic husband, she becomes a celebrity. The Underpants comments on our celebrity-mad-culture with its 15-minutes-of-fame syndrome and is told with the wacky sensibility of Steve Martin.
