You can hike the historic grounds and witness the natural beauty of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage as few people have experienced it before. The hike will be led by Heather Gallagher, a Naturalist at Nashville's Warner Park Nature Center, and Robbie Jones, the Director of Preservation at The Hermitage. Join us and learn about the 460 acres, once a part of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage plantation acquired in 2003. Families and beginners are welcome, but the hike isn't intended for small children. Helpful Information: Families and beginners are welcome, but the hike isn't intended for small children. Remember to bring bottled water, snacks, insect repellant, sunscreen, and proper hiking clothing and gear. Hikers will be meeting at the Andrew Jackson Visitor Center breezeway. Please RSVP by August 17 by calling 615-889-2941, extension 201.
