    Lifeworks Foundation will present Carriage House Music Series III to benefit the Belle Meade Plantation. The event, to be held in the 1890's historic Carriage House at the Belle Meade Plantation, will feature legendary country music songwriting icon, Bill Anderson and Friends. Anderson, (aka "Whisperin' Bill"), known for penning smash hits including "Once a Day," "Mama Sang a Song," "The Tips of My Fingers," "Whiskey Lullaby" and "Give it Away" will present the Bill Anderson Heritage Music Award to Jimmy Dean ("Big Bad John," "PT 109," "I.O.U"), the first recipient since the award's inception last year. Also slated to appear are industry leader, Thom Schuyler ("Love Will Turn You Around," "I Fell in Love Again Last Night" and often credited with founding the "in the round" showcase format), Don Schlitz ("The Gambler," "Forever and Ever Amen," "On The Other Hand"), Donna Meade Dean (1989 Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame inductee who was a dominant force in the 1980's Nashville club scene, plus a surprise guest who ranks among the greatest in country music. This intimate series is the first of its kind to be held at the Belle Meade Plantation and will be aired on Music City Connection: Heroes Behind the Hits, exclusively on XM Satellite Radio. Ticket price includes a southern-style meal prepared by famed Loveless Cafe, complementary beverages and world-class live music in the historic setting of the 1890's Carriage House.
