CommunityNashville's 5th Annual Walk As One brings the Nashville community together to express a commitment to understanding differences and building respect. The two-mile walk is free and open to the public, though walkers are encouraged to collect pledges supporting their participation. Dogs are invited to attend and participate in Bark As One - the canine counterpart to Walk As One. Proceeds benefit CommunityNashville youth and community leadership education programs. Understanding differences and Building respect provide the foundation for community and unity in the 21st century. Joining others in this Walk As One event makes a statement bigger than you could ever do alone. Entertainment and warm-up celebrities will welcome you. Breakfast snacks and beverages will soothe you and friends and neighbor visits will inspire you. During the event, entertainment will be provided by the Latin-inspired Danny Salazar y su Trova Urbana, with a special performance by Grammy award-winning Victoria Shaw and students from the Abintra Academy.
