How Nashville's Sports Authority can let Elite Racing have this bill represent the "Music City" is beyond my ability to comprehend. It's a textbook example of what happens when a corporate event company uses music as a marketing tool for their event without knowing anything about, err... music. In a city of innumerable talents Elite chooses to bring in a Memphis artist with nominal name recognition and negligible ties to country music (psssst... it's the "Country Music Marathon"). The show was average at best, helped greatly by energetic openers Lady Antebellum, and the poor attendance reflected the lackluster bill. Come on Elite - and Nashville Sports Authority - you have to do better than this. This is embarrassing for everyone concerned. Collapse
