You're invited to the most entertaining house warming party in history! Join Actors Bridge Ensemble and The Belmont University Department of Theatre and Dance team up for the inaugural performance in the new Bill and Carole Troutt Theater. Situated on Belmont Boulevard in the heart of the historic and eclectic Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood, this state of the art, 350 seat proscenium theatre is sure to be the premiere performance space not only for the university, but the greater Nashville community as well. Bill Feehely, Actors Bridge Ensemble Founding Artistic Director and Belmont University Professor of Theatre, will direct this unique combination of established, professional actors and exceptional, collegiate performers. The production marks the return of Christopher Browne (Blue Man Group) to his alma mater as he performs the role of Benedick opposite Nashville's own actress/musician, Pru Clearwater as Beatrice. The cast also includes local, professional favorites such as Kris Campa, David Berry and Marc Mazzone with recent Belmont alums, Brian Lange and Jessika Malone making professional acting debuts. Rounding out the ensemble are top acting students from Belmont University's Department of Theatre and Dance. The design team includes Tony Award winning costume deisgner, Franne Lee, Ardee Design Group Lighting Designer, Richard K. Davis, and Belmont University Chair of Theatre and Dance Department and Tennie Award Winning Set Designer, Paul Gatrell.
