The Nashville Sports Council will host the fourth annual Music City Hits fast pitch softball tournament from June 11-15, 2008, at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville. The Southeast’s largest college exposure tournament, last season’s event featured over sixty of the top female amateur softball teams in the country. The tournament brought in an estimated impact of over $1 million for the community. Click here for times and teams.

We are anticipating another exciting week of softball. Some of the highlights of this year will include:
-Sixty-six (66) teams from all over the United States featuring some of the top female athletes ranging from ages 16 to 18.
-Over fifty (50) college coaches expected to attend.
-Over 900 participants and nearly 3000 spectators.
-Over 200 games of softball played through the duration of the tournament.
-In addition to the tournament, there will be an All-Star game featuring three teams comprised of the top softball players from the state of Tennessee.

All games will be played at Drake's Creek Park, located in the Nashville suburb of Hendersonville.
