Featuring Darrell Scott and the Orchestra Nashville String Quintet with rhythm section. Two seasons of great music making with Darrell Scott as Acoustic Cafe Artist-in-Residence conclude with this program featuing multi-instrumentalist Dirk Powell in a mix of old-time Appalachian, Cajun, and -of course- Darrell's amazing songs. And the unrestrained energy of one of Cajun music's hottest young bands, Balfa Toujours, will be joined by the NCO strings to cap this season of Acoustic Cafe concerts in grand style.
