The Sanders family returns to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in the mountains of North Carolina on the Christmas Eve following Pearl Harbor. The family has gathered for one last singin' at the church before young Dennis ships out for boot camp. All are invited to become a member of Reverend Oglethorpe's congregation for a nostalgic visit in an old-time church in 1941.

For over two decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning: his shirt un-tucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It’s storytelling at its best. The trademark caricature is the essence of James Gregory’s comedy: rib-tickling reflections on life from the front porch.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Epps' natural comedic ability was encouraged at an early age, and he began performing standup as a teenager. He moved to Atlanta where he worked at the Comedy Act Theater. By 1995, Mike Epps ended up on the Def Comedy Jam tour and starred in two of HBO's Def Comedy Jam broadcasts. With a stop along the way to appear in actor Vin Diesel's directorial debut Strays (1997), Mike Epps was well on his way to becoming one of the bigger names in stand-up.

Pauly Shore knows a little something about the fleeting nature of fame and fortune. Despite overwhelming popularity during the early '90s, he has been slapped around by the media. As an answer to his critics and a step toward getting his career back on track, Pauly produced, wrote, directed and starred in Pauly Shore Is Dead, a semi-autobiographical mockumentary in which he satirizes the perils of Hollywood. In the film, Pauly loses everything and decides to fake his death in a quest for post-mortem adulation. He called in a lot of favors to get the project made and managed to wrangle big-star cameos from the likes of Sean Penn, Whoopi Goldberg, Ellen DeGeneres, Dr. Dre, Clint Howard, Perry Farrell, Fred Durst, Verne Troyer, Andy Dick, Mark McGrath, Jerry Springer, Montel Williams, Sally Jessy Raphael, Kurt Loder and Paris Hilton, to name a few.

Jeff Dunham and his suitcase posse are funny “ very, very funny“ and the public has responded by making his Comedy Central one-hour special, Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself, one of the network's highest rated standup specials ever. The recent runaway success of this shrewd, contemporary, and cutting-edge comedy team has moved Dunham and his three-foot tall sidekicks out of comedy clubs and into sold-out concert halls across the country.

Dunham's team consists of "Peanut," a frenzied and fast self-described "comic genius," who claims origin from an uncharted island in Micronesia. Then there's "Walter," an everyman-curmudgeon whose opinions on any person or any subject spew forth in a delightfully unbridled fashion. "Jose Jalapeno" avoided his destiny to be eaten when he teamed up with Jeff after an accident in his home country of Mexico, which permanently placed him, "on a stEEK!" There's "Melvin," a mild-mannered, no-real-power superhero who wants to save our country from evil, meanwhile he keeps getting locked inside the suitcase. And finally there's "Achmed," the dead terrorista. Yes, the dead terrorist. Did we mention this show was cutting-edge? "These guys are my secret weapon," says Dunham, "There's some sort of unspoken rule that allows them to say things and make observations that no mere human could ever get away with, and it's all under the guise of comedy."

With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.

David Sedaris is the author Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice, as well as collections of personal essays, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames, each of which became a bestseller. Sedaris’ essays appear regularly in The New Yorker and have twice been included in The Best American Essays. Sedaris and his sister, comedienne Amy Sedaris, have collaborated under the name “The Talent Family” and have written half-a-dozen plays which have been produced at La Mama, Lincoln Center, and The Drama Department in New York City. These plays include Stump the Host, Stitches, One Woman Shoe, which received an Obie Award, Incident at Cobbler’s Knob, and The Book of Liz, which was published in book form by Dramatists Play Service. His original radio pieces can often be heard on This American Life, distributed nationally by Public Radio International and produced by WBEZ. David Sedaris has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album.

The Doyle and Debbie Show is sublime parody, simultaneously lampooning and idolizing country music's tradition of iconic duos and their subsequent battle of the sexes. Bruce Arntson and Jenny Littleton wield the vocals of vintage country stars and the acting chops of Broadway veterans, taking audiences on a freewheeling joyride through a wickedly funny script and slew of equally hilarious original songs. Over the past two years, Doyle and Debbie have developed a rabid cult following in Nashville, many of whom have seen the show over a dozen times - everyone from theater-going professionals to college students who wouldn't be caught dead in a theater or a country bar.

In the '70s, Roy Clark symbolized country music in the U.S. and abroad. As one of the hosts of TV's Hee Haw for more than 20 years, Clark picked and sang and offered country corn to 30 million people weekly. He is first and foremost an entertainer, drawing crowds at venues as different as Las Vegas, Atlantic City and the Opry. His middle-of-the-road approach has filled a national void, with Clark offering country that was harder-edged than Kenny Rogers but softer and more accessible than Waylon Jennings. Among his numerous vocal hits are "Yesterday, When I Was Young" and "Thank God and Greyhound." Instrumentally he has won awards, for both guitar and banjo. -- Bio courtesy of CMT.

John Amos played Esther Rolle's husband on Good Times, WJM's weatherman on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, the adult Kunta Kinte on Roots, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on The West Wing. He was also the Mayor on Craig T. Nelson's The District, and owned the fast-food restaurant in Coming to America.

“Music City Improv” is a show largely made up of improv games, the type you’d see on the popular TV show “Whose Line is it Anyway”, where players use suggestions thrown at them from the audience to craft funny situations within the structure of the game.

Experience one of the great comic minds in the field of entertainment, live and in person, when Tom Green takes the stage and provides non-stop laughter with his brilliantly cracked view of the world around him.
