Originating from Northern Kentucky, singer/songwriter Kelsey Harmon was influenced by the R&B, soul genres which her vocal coach Lori Wainscott, had encouraged her to embrace Lori saw a uniqueness in Kelsey and gave her the confidence to really pursue her newly-found passion, singing Kelsey later earned a scholarship to the University of Dayton in Ohio for voice performance However, though classical training provided great technical growth, Kelsey felt that she belonged in the commercial world She belonged in Nashville, TN In the summer of 2010, she earned an internship at Vibe 56 studios on Music Row, which ultimately led to the introduction of her and her producer, Adam Shoenfeld Frequent writing sessions eventually led into recording, which led to the production of an entire album With the support of some great Nashville session players, this album became a reality Drummer/Producer Paul Mabury as well as Bassist Tony Lucido both contributed to a few of the tunes on this CD During this time, Kelsey graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business This was perfect timing, and opportunity had finally met preparation Her debut album "One Big Favor" is simply an ode to the people who have believed in her as well as those whom represent hardships that have made her stronger It starts with songs reflecting the hard times, and eases into the idea that everything is going to be okay and that she has finally found peace with everything and everyone

An Evening with Don Schlitz Don Schlitz was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina He briefly attended Duke University before moving to Nashville in 1973 His first recorded song, “The Gambler”, won a Grammy and the Country Music Association’s and the Academy of Country Music’s Song of the Year Don’s songs have played major roles in the careers of Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, The Judds, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tanya Tucker, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Alison Krauss, and many other singers His fifty Top Ten’s have included twenty-four Number One’s Schlitz was the ASCAP Country Songwriter of the Year for four consecutive years from 1988-91 He has won three CMA Song of the Year awards, two ACM Song of the Year awards, two Grammy’s, and has had many more nominations He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Association’s Hall of Fame in 1993 In 2007, Don was presented the ASCAP Creative Achievement Award In 2010, he released his first studio album in 30 years, “Allergic to Crazy” and his first Greatest Hits album He became the third living person chosen to receive the Academy of Country Music’s Poet’s Award, for career songwriting achievement in country music (the other living recipients being Bill Anderson and Merle Haggard) To top the year off, Don was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame! Ellis Paul is one of the leading voices in American songwriting and one of the top songwriters to emerge out of the fertile Boston folk scene He helped create a movement that revitalized the national acoustic circuit with an urban, literate, folk rock style that helped renew interest in the genre in the 90's His charismatic, personally authentic performance style has influenced a generation of artists away from the artifice of pop, and closer towards the realness of folk Though he remains among the most pop-friendly of today's singer-songwriters - his songs regularly appear in hit movie and TV soundtracks - he has bridged the gulf between the modern folk sound and the populist traditions of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger more successfully than perhaps any of his songwriting peers Yet to hear him at this crossroads moment in his career, you would think he was just getting started For years, he has been among the folk circuit's most popular and dependable headliners, with a mailing list of over 20,000 fiercely loyal fans He has released 14 CDs, and recently explored new media avenues with a documentary/concert DVD called "3,000 Miles," and "Notes from the Road," a critically acclaimed book of poems and stories In recent years, he has also departed from his solo career to tour and record with longtime compadre Vance Gilbert, and to indulge his deep respect for American folk icon Woody Guthrie He appeared with the all-star Guthrie tribute tour, "Ribbon of Highway, Endless Skyway" For his Philo CD, "The Speed of Trees," he wrote a modern musical setting of Guthrie's unpublished lyric "God's Promise"

When he was just 16-years-old, Josh Krajcik schemed his way onto the stage of a bar near his hometown of Wooster, Ohio Earning $100 for his four-hour debut gig, the singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist decided that night to devote his life to making music Over the next 14 years, Krajcik fronted a host of musical projects and eventually founded the Josh Krajcik Band, a three-piece blues-rock outfit that toured with the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae and The Fray and appeared on the Bonnaroo Music Festival’s 2006 lineup But by 2011 Krajcik was fighting to sustain his music career, and ended up taking a job at a burrito joint to make ends meet On a whim, Krajcik then auditioned for The X Factor USA—and soon found himself wowing audiences with his gravelly-rich voice and stirring delivery on the show’s premiere season Now, Krajcik is set to release his full-length album Blindly, Lonely, Lovely that pair his powerful vocals with intensely passionate, soul-infused songwriting “More than anything, I wanted this music to be honest,” says Krajcik of his debut releases Instinct has also played a key role in guiding Krajcik through the ups and downs of his early career “Over the years I definitely had a few of those moments where you’re doubting yourself and you wonder, ‘Should I just give it all up?’” Krajcik admits “But at the same, I really don’t know what else I could have tried to be” So while holding to the promise he made himself at sixteen yielded its share of struggle, Krajcik asserts that those tough times have more than paid off “The day after I finished the sessions for ‘Nothing’ and ‘Don’t Make Me Hopeful,’ I was walking around Hammersmith, just sort smiling to myself and thinking about the songs and my music in general,” he recalls “After a while I looked up and realized I didn’t know where I was I’d gotten so caught up in thinking about where I was now—compared to just about a year before, when I was jumping from couch to couch and making burritos to pay rent—that I’d ended up completely lost in the middle of London It was a great moment” Still, Krajcik asserts that his ultimate goal is to continue expanding his sound and delving more deeply into his songwriting “The most important thing for me is to just keep on pushing myself as a singer and songwriter and musician,” says Krajcik, “since I know that this is what I’m going to be doing forever”
