    The Fontanel Mansion & Farm

A ticket to tour the Mansion at Fontanel is like a ticket to the inside life of Nashville's most famous export. Once the family home of megastar and Country Music Hall of Fame® member and two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Barbara Mandrell, the Mansion at Fontanel has been filled to the brim with photos, memorabilia and personal items from the period when the Mandrell family lived there. Additionally, the personal collections of current owners Dale Morris and Marc Oswald are featured, which include one-of-a-kind items, personal photos and keepsakes of the artists they currently manage including Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, and many others. But make no mistake, this is not a museum. The mansion has been and is still home to many creative meetings, photo shoots and movie productions, and who knows who you might run into while visiting.

Here at Fontanel, you get to do more than just look, you are welcome to touch, see feel and live in this magnificent home. Grab a guitar and snap a photo. Have a seat in the sofas. Stay a while and relax in the pool atrium. You'll learn about the process of building a 27,000 square foot log home, mere minutes from downtown Nashville, yet lifetimes away from the average home. You'll learn about the land and how the Mandrell family started a legacy of sustainability that survives today. When ready, the shuttles will carry you back to the Farm, where you can spend the rest of your day hiking the free trails, dining in the Farm House Restaurant or browsing through the gifts and local arts and crafts in the Fontanel gift shop.
