Centennial Park, Nashville’s signature greenspace, is the newly designated free outdoor musical epicenter which casts a wide net over the city’s increasingly diverse pool of talent. Situated in the park’s southwest corner facing West End Avenue, the naturally sloping amphitheatre boasts the park’s true-to-life replica of the Parthenon as its atmospheric backdrop. Slated for every Saturday, each installment features a multicultural slice of world-class singers, songwriters and musicians - a definitive and often delightfully surprising celebration of Music City’s artistic melting pot. Musicians Corner is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, BMI, American Songspace, Metro Parks, and The Conservancy for the Parthenon & Centennial Park.

      My husband and I were enjoying Centennial Park last Saturday when we noticed a stage set up. We walked over and were surprised to see that we had mistakenly come to the first Musician's Corner at the park. And we are so glad we did! It was a fantastic time, despite the rain. The artists were amazing and the vendors there selling some treats were super friendly. A big thumbs up to (I think this name is right) Tin Can Treats? They were selling glass bottles of soda and yummy ice cream out of there vintage shasta trailer and it was just the coolest thing ever! Come check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!
