Southeastern Young Alumni Charitable Foundation (SEYA)

The Southeastern Young Alumni Charitable Foundation was formed by several young alumni of the various schools within the Southeastern Conference. Our goal is to raise money for pediatric cancer research. The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt was chosen as the benefactor of our efforts for various reasons. First and foremost, The Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is always one of the nation's best pediatric hospitals for researching methodologies to cure and treat cancer in children and adolescents. It is very exciting to know that we can make one of the best pediatric hospitals in the world even stronger than they are today. In addition, Vanderbilt University is one of the schools represented in the Southeastern Conference, and raising money for their endeavors allows us to assist "one of our own." Finally, we thought it would be phenomenal to see our money going to work in our home city of Nashville. Like anyone who has been impacted by cancer in their life, we aspire to be a very small part of finding a cure.
