Generation Conservation (Gen C)
Generation Conservation (Gen C) is an initiative comprised of those interested in learning about the mission and work of The Nature Conservancy through evening receptions, family-friendly parties, and outings around Tennessee. Gen C members share a passion for the conservation of our land, water, and natural resources for future generations.
Gen C members are a key component of The Nature Conservancy’s work and mission. They are committed to sharing the positive messages of conservation and fostering an understanding and respect for the world's plants, animal and natural communities.
Participation in Gen C offers many exclusive benefits, including the opportunity to collaborate and network with like-minded people in conservation-themed pursuits such as: informative lectures and receptions, private field trips, guided hikes and canoe floats, and bird-watching expeditions at some of the most beautiful places in Tennessee. For more information about our upcoming events, email Trish Crist at The Nature Conservancy.
The Nature Conservancy of Tennessee maintains 17 preserves and many conservation projects around the state, from the cranberry bogs of East Tennessee, through the Cumberland Plateau, to the pristine Duck River. With our partners, we have protected more than 270,000 acres of land in Tennessee. Gen C is open to any existing or future member of The Nature Conservancy under 50 years of age.
