Tennessee Storytelling Association
Tennessee Storytelling Organization is an organization that is committed to preserving the irreplaceable oral tradition of Tennessee through its dedication to the art of storytelling. The organization serves the community through sponsorship of public performances and by providing professional development for its members. Our members include storytellers, librarians, teachers, community workers and all those who love to tell and listen to stories. The organization and its members bring education and healing that cross generational and cultural boundaries through the power of storytelling.
Within Middle Tennessee, members have a story sharing every other month on a Sunday evening at a member's home. Statewide, guilds and informal groups meet regularly and plan festivals.-
